Peugeot, hmmm, they’ve always made a decent enough Looking automobile, a little lacking perhaps on the reliability front – Peugoet Drivers Be Quiet, servicing your car EVERY month isn’t normal – aside from that little nugget, if don’t fit into a slimline blue pencil skirt or loafers and cardigans, they’ve never really been inspiring. Adding to that image, Peugeot has released pix of it’s latest concept, the VeLV. In fairness to Peugeot, it looks like their partners, Citreon may have had a heavy hand in designing this commuter. VeLV is a French acronym that translates to City Light Electric Vehicle – the PSA concept debuted at a Paris innovation forum where the company said its baby would be aimed at corporate fleets, rental companies, car-sharing schemes and private buyers who fancy a second car or just a round-town runabout. Land Rover owners are an odd breed - I know this because I too suffer this disease - they tend to NOT embrace change, until of course it’s here, then they spout the wonders of good British design. Model changes are a rare thing for the ubercool off-roader. When they do happen, purests around the globe tend to get all vocal over how the brand is being watered down and spout 1000 non-nonsensical reasons why Land Rover should hold on to her old values. Of course the newer models are built tonka truck tough, with a brilliant eye for aesthetics, blah blah blah. As an avid admirer and indeed driver of Land Rover, I’m excited at the idea of an evolved new version, and evolution is precisely what Land Rover has just unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show – Die Hards Turn Away Now! - Land Rover has just taken the wraps off its already controversial DC100 Concept in Frankfurt. Land Rover says the concepts are intended to float new ideas and spark debate on the design of the next-generation Defender which is slated for production 2015. Land Rover has also tossed-up some interesting possibilities as to what sort of high-tech kit might find a home in future models. Normally this would simply be rhetoric, Land Rover has however always taken feedback from it’s buyers very seriously B★C READ MORE

Clear the track Brammo, Zero, KTM and BRD, Husqvarna just decided to enter the electric motorcycle market with its Concept E-go. An urban commuter aimed squarely – in an angular fashion – at first-time riders. The E-go concept draws on the Swedish brand’s dirt and supermoto livery to bring a stylishly aggressive electric motorcycle package. Weighing in at just 80kg (176 lbs) the Husqvarna Concept E-go borders on beautifully anorexic. Husqvarna describes it’s concept as: Extreme, light, streamlined. This is Husqvarna’s approach to today’selectric motorcycling world. Urban commuting for first-time bikers who can have all the attractive features that a Husqvarna machine boasts: an explosive mix of road, off-road and supermotard experiences. Stripped Down/Bare Bones styling definately takes center stage on this concept, with the E-go’s front end being the star attraction. Husqvarna dubs the eye-catching component “a single sided double leg fork.” At only 80 kg it’s pure exhilaration, the innovative design is inspired and derived from the latest Husqvarna models, with features such as the striking side panels that makes this bike clearly a member of the Husqvarna family B★C READ MORE

Our favorite French auto maker Renault has given us a first glimpse of the facelifted Twingo, which is adopting one of Laurens van den Acker’s design concepts, head-chief of the creation department within the Group. As we can see from the official picture, the front grill and headlights have had a little botox treatment while the fog lights will be re positioned to give Twingo a nastier stance. The rims will also get a new design while the interior will be overhauled with bolder and better kit. According to the auto maker Twingo is the way of the futere. The facelifted Twingo will get the same motor range as the current version. Low end 1149 cc and the same 133 horsepower top of the line. A hybrid or electric version of the Twingo should make its appearance someplace late in 2013. The Renault Twingo facelift will make its official appearance during the Frankfurt Motor Show this September, and will probably hit the showrooms right after the event. We’d love to talk about our 11th favorite British Auto maker, TVR, unfortunately they went bust a couple of years back, instead we’ll talk up our 14th favorite British Auto Maker, Trident. We love a swindle, the thought of duping the galaxy is a bit of a chuckle. Insofar as auto swindles go, Trident has to be one the the most amusing. The amount of press – and yes this counts – this theoretic motor car has recieved is outstanding. From Gizmag to Green Autos, Trident has splattered the interweb with it’s ever upcoming release. Trident aka Broadley Performance Vehicles PLC aka Eric Broadley, not to be confused with Trident Cars Ltd (UK) Has been promising a car since 1999, every two years a new model – prototype- magically appears, but the company is yet to produce a single model. What Gives!? B★C READ MORE
